Review & Giveaway: Wanchai Ferry Dinner Entree & Gift Set
One of my favorite "blog perks" is when I get offered a new food to try out and review. I'm always looking to try new things but I hate to spend $$ on something that I may not like. So when My BlogSpark asked if I wanted to try out Wanchai Ferry Frozen Chinese Meals, I said, "Absolutely!"
Not only did they ship me a coupon for a FREE entree, but they also sent a set of bamboo placemats, chopsticks and Chinese-inspired bowls. Oh, this was going to be fun! A date night...at home! (but with the kids!) But I also got a sample of the Orange Chicken variety mailed right to my door, shipped on dry ice. Talk about practically cooking for me! :) (If only they had agreed to do the dishes....)
So Nathan and I had fun setting up the table all cutesy with the Chinese items and in less than 15 minutes, dinner was served. I have to be honest in that I was a little leary as to how Orange Chicken was going to taste. But I'm glad I tried it! We loved it...even little Nathan! It was definitely close to restaurant quality in my book!
They have other varieties like Shrimp Lo Mein, Spicy Garlic Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken and Sweet & Spicy Shrimp. Since Lo Mein is one of my restaurant favorites, I'm sure that's the next one I'll try! But, as you all know by now, My BlogSpark likes to spoil one of my readers, too! :) So this is what they are going to ship one of my lucky readers that wins this giveaway:
~A Coupon for a FREE Wanchai Frozen Chinese Entree
~A set of chopsticks, bamboo placemats and bowls, so you can have your own little date night at home, too!
HERE'S HOW TO ENTER:
1) Leave a comment and tell me what is your favorite International food (dish/entree)? Be sure to leave your first name & email/blog address.
After that, you can also enter two other ways: (Make sure you leave a separate comment for these, too!)
2) Subscribe via Email/Reader or Follow the Blog. (These are in my left sidebar.)Make sure you come back here and leave a comment with your first name and email/blog address. (This should be a separate comment than the one above.) NOTE: If you are already a subscriber, thank you, and please give yourself another entry!
3) For an additional entry, write a posting on your blog about the giveaway or you can "tweet" about the giveaway on twitter. Make sure that you leave another comment with your email/blog address letting me know that you did this.
4) There's a total of three entries allowed per person.
Entry is open to US residents only through 11:59pm CST on 8/17/09. Winner will be chosen using random.org and contacted by email. If you're the winner, you'll have 48 hours to respond or an alternate will be chosen.
Thank you to My BlogSpark for the great meal and giveaway for one of my readers!
