So, this weekend, I am having a family BBQ. Good thing I am stocked up on my own food or this could have been a budget breaker! Here's what I got:
1 gallon of milk, 1 loaf of bread, 12ct. hamburger buns, 8 ct. hotdog buns, strawberries, Dulci chocolate(for the strawberries!), lettuce, bananas, 3 packages of Oscar Meyer cheese dogs, 3 packages of Kraft cheese slices, 3 bottles of various Kraft salad dressing, 3 various Crystal Lights, 3 boxes of family-sized Wheat Thins, Gold Tostitos chips, cream cheese, 4 packages of Budding Beef, 1 box of 16 hamburgers, 45 packages of Kool-Aid (ugh!), 2 bags of Healthy Life cat food(for my sister), 3 cans of Mighty Dog Food, hamburger pickle slices and 1 64oz Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice.
My total if I hadn't shopped sales and used coupons was $140.13. I spent $26.14 for a $113.99 savings or 81.3%! I also got a $3 off my next shopping trip coupon from Kraft!!
Since I still have $13.86 left of my grocery budget, this will be used for some corn-on-the-cob and cantelope for the BBQ and then any extra produce we might need for the week.
Once again, I needed a manager's override on the groceries. Gotta love it!

ReplyDeleteI had the Kraft coupons from the All You Magazines for free hotdogs, cheese slices, Wheat Thins, Crystal Light and salad dressing, 3 Free cans of Mighty Dog, 2 Free bags of cat food, a Free Ocean Spray (from the back of a pop-tarts box), free Sara Lee bread and the $8/$80 Jewel coupon. They scanned that first for me. There was also a Spend $20/Get $5 on Kraft items which I did twice and it paid for my Kool-aid.

Wanted to let you all no that I am letting you no about my life so maybe someone out there had some advice for me, I was great in having advice for people and so help full now hopefully there will be a voice for me. I've been a blogger and a coupon freak for a while, and it stop over night. So let me tell you a story about how my year is going hopefully this coming year I can get back on my feet so I can start Blogging and collecting my coupon I miss my organizer and printer and stuff needed to make ends meet and business. I was in a serious relationship for 14 years was in Love with a guy that I thought was my soul mate, finally after 14 years we have a 12 year old Daughter together. Had ask me over and over again to make that big move to move in with him so we can be a family together and live the life of everyone else does. He wanted Sunday Dinners, I cleaned all night, washed clothes and took care of his son since he was 2 weeks old. I left my apartment, gave my things away, transfer the kids to there new school which one of my daughter has Dawn Syndrome she's 16. I moved with him and no less than 2 month I found out that he was on Methadone bought it on the street and gamble all his money, and was all so having a problem he never wanted to kiss me, hug me are make love to me I decided to listen to his cell phone message to see what was going on and would you no he was seeing someone at work called Kelly from Quinipiac University in Ham den, so I ask him why did he do what he did was because he needed someone to care for his house and cook for him like a maid that's it. I couldn't believe that we stayed together for a long time are love was special the sex was like Dave Mathew love full of Passion. I love everything about him. It all went South when he started Drugs I lost the Man I thought who was everything to me finally made the move, anyway I ended up not going home that day I listen to the cell phone at this point in time I knew it was over he needed someone who would accept his habits in life I couldn't so I lost him and my Daughter lost her father he has left us with nothing. Staying with are stuff doesn't call his Daughter Makes 100.00 Year not one cent for his child I have to start all over again. I don't no where my strength went I use to be so strong now it is so hard for the last 2 weeks its like pins and needles in my heart. Have to ask myself how Drugs can change a person and cling on to someone else. Not only do I got to start trying to get my stuff to try to get back into blogging but all my stuff for couponing and all m craft books that I use to sell my crafts he kept everything I wish that he saw deep down in side of him how he hurt me and his Daughter. Get this he sold my van that I paid for 15,000 now I am stuck with a car ready to die soon. So there you go some of my ordeal of life any advice please let me now I need to get back on my feet and now that there is such thing as love and hope for me and start my business again. Hi there who ever read that story of mine just to let u know that my life is better now the sad part is after I left 2 month later He died.. and I am doing fine still trying to get to were I was but God had giving me lots of thing's in life and I tell u if it was not for the fact I learn how to save on coupons and deals in my life and learning to survive with what I have, I would have never made it but thanks to all you blogs I've learned to learn and grow as a better person and not feeling alone to much to read in a day thanks again and hope you out there who know someone on Drugs or Gambling problem hang in there there's hope!! for u seek and u she'll find there help out there I left but I mad it..
