Simple Steps: Week Four

For newbies, click here for previous postings.

Week Four already? Incredible! Since my time is a little limited today, I'll jump right into the four new habits:

1) Replace bad fats with good fats. --Definitely read all the fine details on this one in the book!

2) Dance to at least one song every day. -- I like this idea! Music and dancing really does lift up the spirits!

3) Maintain a clean and healthy refrigerator and pantry -- I just had to throw out a few things yesterday that I didn't even know we had or that were expired. It made me ill to lose out on money (as I see it!) so I started a new "Inventory" plan. I'll tell you all about it later in the week!

4) Clean and Floss your teeth twice daily. (Seems so simple but when life gets hectic...)

Don't forget the other week's habits we've already started:
1) Take a multi-vitamin everyday.
2) Be aware of posture and breathing.
3) Keep a clear desktop. (or computer desk!)
4) Make sure to cleanse and moisturize daily.
5) Keep a Daily Food Journal
6) Squeeze in some isometric exercises everyday.
7) Maintain an efficient laundry system.
8) Follow a daily to-do list.
9) Drink 8 cups of water a day.
10) Walk 20 minutes a day.
11) Clear out (clean) one drawer/cabinet/closet every week.
12) Save $2 a day or 1% of your weekly salary/allowance.

Wow! A lot to handle/remember! But remember, only do what you can! The plan isn't to overwhelm but to create new great habits! So even if you just get in one a week, that's a wonderful accomplishment, too!

Hope your week goes well!

  1. Jaycie this looks incredible! I wish I had seen it 4 weeks ago when you started...it seems like it is always more fun to do things like this when you have others doing it with you! I'm going to check out the book!
