Christmas: Can't Find Series
Less than two months until Christmas now. It didn't seem quite real until the weather dropped yesterday and we actually saw some snow flurries. SNOW! I feel like I was just gardening yesterday. Time sure is flying by!
Well, I don't have any specific items I am looking for for Christmas. But I am stuck on ideas for the Nanas. So if you have any great ideas or some fantastic homemade gifts that will touch their hearts, PLEASE let me know.
For those of you new to this series, I usually post this on Monday/Tuesday as a place for you to ask all the readers for help in finding a Christmas item/idea. So feel free to leave a comment or a blog link.

This isn't homemade, but my parents loved these last year. Vistaprint usually has the desktop photo calendar for free, right now I think. (The quality was great) You can upload your pictures for every month and enter in all the important days to be printed on the calendar.
ReplyDeleteThe calendar is a really good idea! She has 7 grandkids (or will have very, very soon!) and I know she'd love to see them every month on her calendar. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI did a scrapbook calendar last year for the Grandma's - it might be a bit late for it this year, but if you start in January you'll be set for next year. Each month, I picked a few of my favorite pictures from that month and created a page on the calender. By December I had two completed calendars - and with only one page (done twice) each month it wasn't overwhelming. I think I bought the calendars at JoAnn's or Oriental Trading - they weren't more than $5 each and I used scraps of paper and embelishments I already had, so the main cost was my time. They loved it!!!
