Week in Review: Jewel, Wags, Petsmart & Old Navy Trip
This was my "big" shopping trip that I did on Saturday. The picture only shows my first Jewel trip. I wasn't about to put a 40lb bag of dog food and 10 gallons of water on the table! :) Here's what I got:
Jewel Trip #1
9 Hillshire Farm Lunchmeats
3 Daisy Sour Creams
2 Grape Tomato Pints
5 Bags of Chex Mix
2 Gallons of Nursery Water
2 Mt Olive Dill Spears
1 Head of Lettuce
2 Cans of Cream of Mushroom Soup
3 Bags of Hershey's Chocolate Chips
2 Farmland Ham Cubes
1 Classico Spaghetti Sauce
1 Loaf of Jewel French Bread
1 Sunday Newspaper
1 Loaf of Wonder Bread
Total = $35.60
Later that evening:
Walgreens
1 25 oz. can of Goodstart Formula
Total= $11.03
Petsmart
2 Cans of Science Diet Wet Dog Food
1 Bag of Dog Treats
1 40lb bag of Science Diet Adult Dog Food
Total= $18.43. (The dog food is normally $44.99 a bag!) Used 3-$5GCs that I earned.
Old Navy
2 pair of pajamas for Nathan for Christmas
2 shirts for Nathan for Christmas
Total=$14.79. Used $10GC I earned through Pampers GTG program.
Jewel- Trip #2
10 Nursery Waters
2 Farmland Ham Cubes
Total= $8.86. I had originally bought a coupon bag but returned it as my sister is going to make me one. Isn't that sweet?
Grand Total=$88.71. Had I not got the deals/used coupons, these would have cost me $229.56. A savings of 61%! And for my money, I was able to get prepared for the baby {formula and water}, stock up on Rich's lunch items, get dog food for Homer & Jack, Christmas presents for Nathan and some grocery basics and items we were out of. (along with coupons!!)
How did you do?
