If you in Chicago and are looking for a place to go with your family/friends, you absolutely have to check out Christkindlmarket at the Daley Plaza-- "A charming German American Festival." They have amazing food and beautiful items for sale.
When I worked downtown, we used to go there every year during one afternoon lunch. All I can say is, they sure do know how to make potato pancakes, bratwurst and hot chocolate! You definitely HAVE to try the hot chocolate. I promise you won't regret it!

This is perfect! Eric and I will be in Chicago Dec 18-21 for a wedding and KID-LESS. (Don't ask me how..Lil still won't take a bottle) Eric also grew up in Germany so I'm guessing he will love this!
