Grand Total for "not pictured" items = $68.87. I earned $17 in Jewel coupons and have $10 left to spend at Target. I'm fully stocked up on baking items, household items, veggies, tomatoes for chili/casserole recipes and I have lots of Pledge/Glade to use for gift baskets. If only I could have found better deals on trash bags and paper products! Maybe next time!!
I allowed myself to spend more these last two weeks because with the baby coming, I won't be getting out the last week of November. I want to make sure we are fully stocked up on everything before then! In the end, I'll stay within my monthly grocery/baby/household budget for November.
Our main fridge/freezer and deep freezer are stocked FULL. As are my 2- 6 cube storage units! I'm set for just picking up the basics for months to come! :) Which is a good thing because shopping with a toddler and newborn is not on my list of fun things to do!!

I WISH I didn't live in an apartment so that I could stockpile that much:) I had a baby in mid-November...and it is definitely NOT a fun thing to do with the two of them. I usually have my hubby watch the toddler or go right after he wakes up from naptime. Congrats on the baby!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Brittany!
ReplyDeleteYou may not be able to stockpile a lot in an apt but try some freezer cooking. It might save you $$, too.
Thanks for the congrats! :)
I was thinking when we had the two, I'd probably be stuck home more and shop by myself once Rich got comfortable watching the two kids at once. It's going to be quite a switch for me!
