Rich and I just paid off our SUV! To some of you, this might not sound like that big of a deal but to me...it's HUGE! For the last 14 years, I've had a loan on all of the vehicles that I driven. So many people would say, "Oh a car loan, it's not debt because you'll always have one." But let me tell you, It's not true! It is possible to be debt-free on a vehicle! And I'm excited to say that she only has 55,000 miles and a warranty left. So I'm hoping that she'll last us for quite awhile!
We'd been gradually paying more each month since we bought it. Ever since we started on the Total Money Makeover plan in August, we started paying larger chunks that we acquired from being on a strict budget.
Today is Kaydi's one month check-up with the Dr. (Can you believe it's been a month already?!) I'm anxious to drive the SUV knowing that the bank doesn't own one cent of her anymore. :)
CONGRATS! Us paying off our car was the best day! We were so proud! Paying off the car enabled me to stay at home. Congrats again on all your hard work towards being debt free and financially wealthy!
