Free Magazine Round-up

The Thrifty Mama did a great job of rounding up all the FREE magazine subscriptions that have become available lately. I've previously posted some of them, but check out her posting here for the full list, in case you missed any or are interested in the new ones.

It is very rare that you should have to ever pay full subscription price for a magazine. There are several outlets for discounted or even free subscriptions. Sometimes the schools will offer them on the cheap and you get to support the school that way, too. There are also mailers sent out randomly for them. I was so excited to get a Read For the Cure brochure that had my Runner's World for $10! (Usually at least $23)

I've also noticed that the longer you wait to renew, the cheaper the subscription prices drop. A few of mine were cut in half, just by waiting!

Be sure to always recycle or re-use your magazines when you are done. Re-use them by donating them to churches, Dr's offices, libraries or even schools. Some schools will use them for the kids to cut-out graphics.
