Jewel: Cereal/Milk Deal Update

So I just came from Jewel. I went straight to the CS desk before I even shopped. They immediately said they are having issues with the milk catalinas printing, they've contacted the company but they are doing workarounds to make sure everyone gets the 1-3 gallons of milk they are intitled to.

I bought a combo of Rice Krispies and Corn Pops and only two printed. So what they did for me was ring up three cereals, waited for the catalina to print and then voided off the 3.

I was told that any of the Kellogg's cereals that are on sale for $2.50 that are 12 oz or more should count towards the 7 you'd need for 3 free milks. (7 for free milks but you need 10 for the instant $10 discount.)

And just so you know, ours printed off catalinas. (This is a GOOD thing! You don't have to get all 3 that day!) But you'd have to split them off your order to get them free that trip.

Hope this helps! Just be prepared for a glitch or two but make sure you get the milk you are entitled to!

  1. I did it once in the morning and the Catalinas printed fine. Then I did the self-check in the evening, and it only printed one Catalina, so they gave me 8 $1 off coupons for Jewel! After those $8 coupons, I paid 83 cents for 2 gallons of milk, 8 boxes of cereal, 2 boxes of poptarts, 2 dog toys and a winter hat!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Thanks for this. I live in Joliet. I am hoping this deal will work at my local Jewel. Also, I would love to see posts with Food 4 less deals, is that possible for you? I can't seem to find those anywhere. I always see great Kroger deals but am unsure if they are the same at Food 4 Less.

  3. I did self-check with 7 cereals, 1 poptart and 2 cheezits and only got one milk gallon coupon.
They scanned more cereals, so 2 more would print - she said the self-check glitch should be fixed overnight and should work Saturday ...
