For those of you that are Jewel shoppers, here's some info. that you should look into. Jewel is supposedly changing their rule of taking expired coupons. So if you have some you've been holding out on, you'll want to use them in the next day or two.
Ironically, I just found out about a month ago that they even had this policy. To think of all the expireds I could have been using. I guess it just makes it easier to maintain my coupons now.
Don't throw them out unless your store specifically said they won't take them! I have heard this off and on for probably about a year, and most employees say they still take expired and they've never heard they aren't supposed. Others have been told they take them if they scan, meaning they don't actively check dates, but won't take expired if they notice. One time I had an expired catalina for $2 off any paper towel. It wouldn't scan and he said it was because it expired and they had that policy for months.
ReplyDeleteNo signs in the stores, no word, etc. If they were to stop, they would have to warn us.

How expired does your store usually take? I have a buy one get one coupon from 11/30/08.......do you think that is too old?
