Deal Seeking Mom has a great posting here on how to organize your shopping list--by writing it down by aisle. This is the method that I use, too. I also write a little letter "Q" by the items that I have coupons for. This way I can do a quick browse to make sure I did grab the coupon for that item. (I normally have them paper clipped to my list before I leave home!)
She also has a printable template that you might be interested in. (Click the "More" dropdown in the sheet to find the print option.)
Having an organized list is a great way to save at the store. It prevents you from having to repeat an aisle and leads to less impulse buying.
