
So, I am happy to say that today, I finished my first week of my 5K training. It wasn't easy talking myself into going out and running each time, (especially when it was 30 degrees one day and rainy another!) but once I got out there, I was sooo glad that I did. It's a nice, peaceful time just for me. And the best part is, I'm getting in that much needed exercise to stay healthy!

So if any of you are interested in also starting to train for a 5K, you can follow along each week and work your way there! Each workout is 20-30 minutes and you only do 3 a week. So by setting aside 1.5 hours a week for yourself, you can get healthy and be running that 5K in no time!
I hope you consider it! Just keep telling yourself that by putting aside a bit of time each week now, you'll be increasing your odds of a longer, healthier life so you can be around for your family later!
