  2. I have enjoyed your site very much. I save money on our budget by being creative with this left over or purposly over cooking I create a laribrith of possibilities. By freezing leftover taco meat next few days a taco salad. By putting my crock pot outside on patio table in spring and summer with extention cord not heating house up I save on elec bill We do have outside outlets.Dry beans, chili especially white chili in summer. Spaghetti sauce ( I am a From scratch cook)I use the heels of bread in a 450 oven chopped with drizzle of margarine usually what I microwave at the end of a tub with some garlic powder for 10 mmin. Croutonsl can freeze inbetween. We garden and I do preserve. I canned 126 qts of tomatoes last summer so we can this year use that space for something else. On corn I recommend wrapping in newspaper with husks on saves bags etc lasts 1.5 yrs in deep freezer. To microwave leave husks on wrap in paper towel heat for 10 min. Unhusk a still vitamin rich product. I pickle cucumbers every 3 yrs.Dill. chow chow, sweet relish etc. Have not figured a way to do saurerkraut that is not a long drawn out pain in the butt. We live in the south so okra is a crop we grow to freeze leave whole cover in water and freeze another $ saver all plastic containers get washed used as well as glass.

  4. Hi Jaycie...

I have a quick question about your site. I see you have your own domain name. When you started out did you use a blogger domain? If so, when you switched to a costumized domain did all the blogger stuff stay the same, like posting, the costumizing page and such?

    TIA!

  5. Yes, everything stays identical. It's just like a re-direct.

    Hope this helps.

  7. I was just at my yorktown Super S food store with coupons that I print off my computer and the mang. and the head cashier said they can not take them. This is a small town and we do not get many local coupons so I have been printing them out from several different websites. Why can they not take them? and do you have any suggestions?
