As much as couponing can really help you save $$, there are other ways you can greatly reduce your grocery budget. Even following a few of them can add up. And I'll be the first to admit, I don't feel like couponing every week! Do I? Usually. But some weeks, time is limited and I make the most of the money I have...quickly... or I just buy up the basics and follow some of these tips. And I'm well aware that some of you just don't coupon. Be it time constraints or just that you don't want to, (and yes, I do respect that) this series can help you off-set that non-coupon usage.
So, here's the scoop: I'm going to do a series in May called "31 Ways to Save on Your Grocery Budget." Each day, at 9AM, you'll get another tip for a way to save some $$. (Course, that's CST, folks, so you'll have to figure accordingly.)
I have them written up, ready to roll. And thanks to the art of Blogger allowing a person to schedule postings, I can make sure they hit at 9AM each day. Why schedule them? I don't want you to miss one in all those amazing deal postings I put up! :)
I'll do a re-cap each Friday of what was covered the week before and one long list at the very end, as a refresher.
I'm hoping you save a few $$ from it! This is all part of "Growing Your Wallet" Month--and just a foreshadowing of a personal challenge I'm going to join in. (I'm working on the details of that.) Let's just say that the Coupon Geek herself is getting a budgeting makeover to match the new cosmetic makeover that the Coupon Geek site will be taking on soon.
The first tip will be up Friday at 9AM! Hope you'll tune in, then!
UPDATE: The idea of a 9AM Tip sounded like so much fun that I think I might continue on with some in June (30 Ways to Save a Buck..or Two) and in July (30 Ways to Save Time...and Time is Money!)

This sounds neat - can't wait to see it. :)
