31 Organizational Tips: Tip # 22
Tip #22 - Use Common Household Items As Organizers
No one says organizing your house has to get expensive. Use common household items to help save on your de-cluttering and organizing expenses. Before recycling/donating, look at everything and ask yourself if it can't be reused in some way. Some ideas?
*Use ice cube trays to sort out earrings, hair ties, or even small office supplies such as rubber bands, paper clips and push pins.
*Use silverware sorters to keep your make-up and bathroom drawers organized.
*Plastic coffee cans and frosting cans make great crayon holders.
*Baby wipes buckets can be used to hold office supplies, receipts, etc.
*Toothbrush holders can be used as pen holders, plastic flower holders, etc.
*Old corkboard might make a good earring holder.
Re-using items that no longer serve their original purpose but that you still love helps keep organizing costs to a minimum.
