31 Organizational Tips - Tip #26 - 29

These are all on closets:

Tip #26 - Sort Your Clothes In Your Closet By Like Items

I try to sort our clothes in our closets by like items--such as short sleeved shirts together, long sleeved, jeans, dress pants and dressy items. This makes it so much easier when I am looking for something to wear. I am less apt to pull items off their hangers, keeping things neater.

Tip #27 - Hang Your Linens and Napkins

For those of you that use cloth tablecloths and napkins, here's a tip for you. Hang your tablecloths on pant hangers. Take your napkins and put them in Ziploc bags and hook them over the hanger so they are kept together. Saves you from having to search for them.

Tip #28 - Put Your Sheets Inside The Pillow Cases When Storing

I love this tip! Instead of having parts of sheet sets here and there falling everywhere, put each set inside one of the pillowcases for it. Sort them by bed size in your linen closet.

Tip #29 - Flag Clothes You Are Unsure Of Donating

When you are de-cluttering your closets and come to a clothing item that you aren't quite sure if you should keep or donate, flag it. At the end of the season, if it's still flagged, donate it!
