Week in Review: CVS Trip

I made a little venture out to CVS on Monday. I was only going out for a couple things but when I got a $5/$30 coupon, I thought I'd make the most of it. Here's what I ended up with:

2 Colgate Total Advance Toothpastes
1 8 Roll of Bounty
1 9 Roll of Charmin Ultra-Strong
2 Neutrogena Soaps
2 Johnson & Johnson Pads with Neosporin

Total: $18.57. Got back $21.98 in ECBs. (I used $1 ECB and $11.50 in Qs.)

What's funny is, I technically made money, but I still know that I could have done better. But when you have two little kids and can't make many trips, you sometimes settle for making just a little bit. :)

  1. I got the same $5/$30 so I did all mine in one trip too. I was going to post.. I will eventually. I spent about $13 OOP but before I left the house I kept looking for my ECBs because I knew I had at least $10 worth. I found them a little while later after I got home. $12 in ECB :( oh well. $10 of what I spent I'm getting back in rebate though. That's just typical of me :(
