Amazon currently has the DC18 Vacuum Cleaner marked down from $479 to $275.
We used to buy the inexpensive vacuums but they'd break almost every year. We finally coughed up the money and invested in a Dyson vacuum and have loved it ever since! Three years later, it's running like brand new. In the end, we decided it was worth the money. Especially having little ones that are crawling around on the floors all the time.
I just thought I'd throw this one out there in case anyone was in need of a vac. I don't own this exact one but it did receive 4 1/2 stars by reviewers.
I am a Dyson JUNKIE. With three dogs and two kids it IS a necessity. We have the "animal"...and just like you three years later it is running like a PRO... and that is with DAILY vacuuming...twice in the summer!
