Amazon: EA Sports Active is Deal of the Day

If you've been on my blog for any amount of time, you know that one of my all-time favorite products is the EA Sports Active for the Wii.

Well, it's Amazon's "Deal of the Day" HERE for $39.77, today only.

I just thought I'd share for all of you with New Year's Resolutions to get healthy/lose weight. This is a great one to try.

Thanks for the tip, The Frugal Mom's Kitchen!

I actually have the expansion pack, as well, called Active: More Workouts. My hubby and I were doing the 6 week challenge together. We were neck-and-neck as to who was "winning." Then I fell on some ice severely bruising up most of my body (especially my knees!), making it impossible to finish. I'm fairly healed now and we'll probably start up again after I get back from Blissdom.

I was just saying to my hubby that it's time we take our son to the theater for the first time. But I did see one of our older theaters still has Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs so we might try for that one.

Amazon: All You Magazine for $12 a Year!

Amazon has a really *hot* price on the All You Magazine Subscription right now.

They are offering it for $34 for a 2 year subscription plus you'll get a $10 credit for a future purchase. It's like getting it for only $12 a year!

Thanks, My Frugal Adventures!

I have to say that if there's any one magazine worth getting, it's definitely All You. It's filled with so many coupons that you'll more than likely earn your money back in the first issue or two. I've actually gone to Wal-Mart several times to get extra copies because the coupons were so valuable in it that it was worth paying the newsstand fee.

I'd also like to take a minute to thank All You for listing me as one of their 5 Coupon Blogs We Love HERE. It is such an honor to be mentioned and especially with such great company. Here are the other blogs mentioned: Baby Good Buys, The Frugal Girls, Common Sense with Money and Money Saving Mom. Congrats to all of those amazing bloggers, too!

Three Months of Amazon Prime for As Low As $1

I'm hoping that over the last few months, I've been able to show you all the great things that Amazon has to offer. I know some of you signed up for that trial membership of Amazon Prime and that it is ending soon or already has ended.

Well, Common Sense with Money found a fantastic deal yesterday. Amazon is offering 3 Months of Amazon Prime when you purchase a Textbook. She was able to find some for as little as $1! So if you enjoy getting your qualifying items shipped 2nd Day Air for FREE, here's how you can get the 3 Months of Membership:

1) Add any one of these to your cart: Romeo and Juliet for $1, William Shakespeare's Complete Sonnets for $2, or any of these for $3.50:Jane Eyre, Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Great Expectations, or Oliver Twist

2) Click on FREE 2-Day Shipping on the Right Side and proceed to Checkout

3) A page will then come up with details about Amazon Prime Trial Offer. Accept the Trial Offer and then finish your purchase as normal.

4) If you don't want it to automatically upgrade and charge $79 after the trial, immediately go to My Account

5) Click on Manage Prime Membership

6) Click on Do Not Upgrade and Turn Off Upgrade Button.

Now these aren't the only ones that will give you the trial. They are just the cheapest. I personally order so much from Amazon that I budget and pay for the membership each year. Not only do I save big on the clearanced items but it also saves me huge $$ in gas, since we live so far from town. I buy almost all of my gifts through them. Just keep your eyes open for the hot deals and I'll continue posting those throughout the year that are worth grabbing.

Thanks again to Common Sense with Money for the find!
