April - Books Bloom Imagination Month!

I was so fuzzy headed from my cold/flu last week, that I didn't get to announce that April was Books Bloom Imagination Month! (By the way, I am feeling MUCH better and thank you to all of you that sent over get better wishes. You are all too sweet!)

All month long on Tuesdays, I'll be doing book giveaways. My hope is to inspire all of you to set aside a little time each week to let yourself enjoy a good book! It is so important to have time to yourself to unwind.

We all get busy as parents and/or with our jobs and sometimes we can forget how much fun reading can really be.

I remember when I was little, I used to curl up and read a book for hours on end. And when I was even younger, I couldn't wait until nighttime when my Mom would read the next chapter in whatever our weekly book was. And today, one of my favorite times of the day is naptime and bedtime when Nathan begs me to read "more books please Mama!"

So this month, I'm adding another way to enter my giveaways. And that's to make a visit to your local library! And if you haven't already, sign-up for a library card. Now's a great time to do it! Most libraries offer great programs for adults and kids. Several offer FREE storytimes and summer activities.
