Aldi's: Strawberries $.99

For those of you with an Aldi nearby, ours had strawberries for $.99 for 16oz. They were really nice quality, too, beating out any I'd seen at the other stores.

Strawberries are in season now so you'll see the prices a little lower. It's a great time to freeze some for things like waffles, smoothies, etc.

Other Aldi's Notables:

Milk $1.49
English Muffins $.99
Clancy's Chips $.99 - $1.29 (Similar to Doritos, Fritos & Cheetos)
Brick Cheese $1.29
Eggs $.79

What did you find at yours?

These are our Chicago area prices. Yours may vary. But just giving you an idea of what you could possibly find there. Aldi's is a great place to shop, especially if you don't have coupons. (They don't take them there.) Just be prepared to have your own grocery sacks, or you'll have to buy them. Also, at most locations, you'll need a quarter for the cart, which you get back when you return it.
