Judging the 44th Pillsbury Bake-Off and a Giveaway with TWO Winners
Pillsbury's 44th Bake-Off Contest is where people enter recipes in hopes of the grand prize...$1 million dollars! The contest’s entry period ended in mid-April 2009, but we've been invited to help with the judging! For the first time in the contest’s 60-year history, we can help determine 10 recipes among the final 100 that will compete for the $1 million grand prize!
How does the You Be the Judge! voting work? Judges selected 20 recipes to be placed online HERE in pairs for a period of two weeks. We can vote for our favorite recipe in each pair. The recipe from each pair that wins the most votes will earn a spot in the final competition, April 11-13, 2010, in Orlando, Florida. The first pair was posted May 14th and changes every two weeks.
Not only do we get to judge recipes but they've also offered me a prize pack for TWO of my lucky readers. The prize pack will include a magazine of over 175 past Bake-Off® recipes/tips and a Pillsbury Doughboy giggle doll. (The magazine is more like a book and each recipe has a yummy picture! As far as the doughboy...He's soo cute and about 16" tall!)
While I encourage you all to vote, you don't need to vote to enter.
How to Enter:
1) Leave a comment and tell me what is your favorite dessert recipe that you like to make? Be sure to leave your first name & email/blog address.
Then there are two other ways to enter and one is new for June! (Make sure you leave a separate comment for these, too!)
2) Subscribe via Email/Reader or Follow the Blog. (These are in my left sidebar.)Make sure you come back here and leave a comment with your first name and email/blog address. (This should be a separate comment than the one above.) NOTE: If you are already a subscriber, thank you, and please give yourself another entry! Don't feel like following/subscribing? Let me know how you found the blog or your favorite parts of the blog.
3) For an additional entry, write a posting on your blog about the giveaway or you can "tweet" about the giveaway on twitter. Make sure that you leave another comment with your email/blog address letting me know that you did this.
4) There's a total of three entries allowed per person.

The giveaway will end on Friday, June 12th, 2009 at 11:59PM, CST.
