Conquering Constant Clutter: Interested?

You may or may not have noticed that there have been a few less postings over the last week. Well, it started off so simple. After 5 years of owning our house, I decided I wanted to paint our bedroom. It then turned into me tearing our house apart and getting every room free of clutter. (I've been doing little things here and there for months but I finally wanted to be done with it!) It was kind of silly timing since we have house guests all this week, starting tomorrow! :) But, I think that might have been added motivation.

I still have another day or two's work but, if you are interested, I can do a quick mini-series on how I approached the clutter in our house. I wouldn't be able to start until next week, as I want to get the Couponing Class Info up yet this week.

Let me know if you are interested and I'll put it in the schedule. I am definitely not an expert on conquering constant clutter but I think I might be able to help with a few things. If nothing else, maybe we can all have fun just sharing our stories and learning from each other! :) I'll be sure to put up a Mr. Linky for you to share your cleaning successes with each posting!

And can I say, it's such a great feeling to wake up in the morning and see a difference in your house! (By the way, don't you love the graphic? I found it HERE. It made me laugh, so I thought I'd share.)

  2. I would love to see a clutter 'class'. I am trying to de-clutter my house during our summer homeschool break, but am finding it hard to stay focused or motivated. Thank you for all of your useful information. I am anxiously awaiting your coupon 'class'.

  5. Great idea for a post - I'm sure I'm not the only one battling constant clutter - especially when you don't have oodles of space.

  10. I'm definitely in the middle of de-cluttering since I'm moving at the end of the month. I only want to move the things that we need and make us smile. I've actually been tackeling getting rid of stuff for the last year or so by using freecycle.org. It's a wonderful resource and hope our society keeps giving/receiving things or free alive!

  11. I am definitely interested! My goal this summer was to get caught up on everything. I usually get a "bug" and go pretty frantic every start of the summer. Unfortunately it hadn't hit me yet and I was feeling extremely overwhelmed.

Somehow I got into my 9 year old daughter's room the other day and we worked 10 hours! We still weren't done, it took 2 more days and I'm starting to feel motivated to tackle the rest of the house.

I would LOVE some helpful advice. Mainly because no matter how much time I put into getting everything organized now, I know that once school starts and the crazy schedules begin, it's a disaster AGAIN!
I look forward to hearing more and the encouragement as well.
