Michael's: Free American Girl Craft Event
This Saturday, September 19th, participating Michael's Craft Stores are having a FREE Craft Event from 10AM-2PM where they will be making three American Girl craft projects! You can read more details HERE.
Thanks for sharing, For the Mommas!
I cannot wait until Kaydi's into the whole dolly scene more. She has one now that she loves to hug now and then and play with. :) I am so lucky that there's an American Girl store downtown Chicago. My co-workers used to come back with the cutest stuff from there.

Word of advice - make sure your daughter is really into American Girl before you invest your life savings in them. LOL My girls talked "Santa" into bringing them American Girl dolls and accessories last year for Christmas. One week later, they both (5 and 9) said the dolls were "so boring" and that they wished they had asked for something else instead. Personally, I think moms get more infatuated with the dolls than the kids. My daughthers' friends rarely play with their dolls either! I think they get a lot more "play value" and enjoyment out of their cheapo Polly Pockets!
ReplyDeleteWe try to live through our kids sometimes, don't we? :) I actually have my "My Child" doll from when I was in grade school. I've been saving it in case I was blessed with a daughter. It's so cool to be able to give her that and my 1980s Strawberry Shortcake dolls--that still smell fruity! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip! I'll check it all out.
