Bass Pro shops are doing a holiday craft December 12-13th from Noon-5PM making a candy cane reindeer. Details HERE. They also have a Santa's Wonderland offering FREE Photos with Santa, games & activities.

It almost looks like if you have all three of these places, that you can hit all of them this week, as the times are spread out this time. A whole day of free fun with the kids! (And a great way to get some gifts to give to others from the kids!)

Michael's: Pancake Spatula w/ Gingerbread Mold

While shopping at Michael's on Saturday, I found this cute Nylon Pancake Spatula with a Silicone Gingerbread Mold for $2.99. The spatula is *huge* and the Gingerbread Mold has a little tab on the side so you can lift it up off the griddle.

I had a 40% Off Coupon from my Sunday Ad, but there's also a printable Coupon HERE that's good until 12/31/09. (Thanks, Coupon Gal!)

Now, I'm not sure if your store will have these or if they'll be on sale now. (as the coupon is good on regular priced items, only) But if not, you can grab one for $1.79 with coupon. You might be able to make a cute Pancake Cooking basket for someone with it. I think there's still a coupon HERE for a $1 off a box of Quaker Oatmeal Pancake Mix. (The only place I can find them around here is at Target.)

I'm holding off on using ours until Christmas Day when I make pancakes for breakfast. It will be fun to treat the kids to some gingerbread man ones. Sorry about the picture quality. My camera hates me these days. I suppose after taking probably 5,000 pictures it's getting tired. :) I need to find one that takes good food shots. (Any recommendations?)

Nathan's Latest Artwork

During our last $2 Tater Thursday session, Nathan made me this triple art painting. I used a package of 3 8x10 thin canvases that they sell fairly cheap at Michael's craft store. (Even cheaper with 50% off coupon!) It made for a nice little extra splash of color in his playroom.

Did You Know: CVS and Michael's Coupons

Here are a few things that you may not have been aware of.

Michael's Craft Stores: Typically there is a 40% or 50% off any one item coupon in the weekly ad. They also distribute 20% off your entire purchase coupons through their e-newsletter and often in the Family Fun magazine. Michael's will let you use BOTH on one order. (Check your store to be sure.) So you will get the one item for 40% off plus 20% off the rest of your order. No need to check out or stop by twice.

CVS: The CVS chains in our area have just posted signs that they accept all competitor's coupons! Make sure you ask your CVS is they are also following this policy.
