CVS: Deal on Osteo Bi-Flex

I'm not sure if this is a regional deal, but I thought I'd post it in case any of you used Osteo Bi-Flex.

CVS has a deal on it for Buy One Get One Free with $3 ECBs when you buy 2. In our area, most of them are priced at around $35.99 a box. In the 1/10 RP insert, there are coupons for $6 off any Osteo Bi-Flex caplet or gel product. If the free box will count towards your purchase of two, here's how the deal would look:

Buy 2 Osteo Bi-Flex @ BOGO $35.99
*Use 2 - $6 Off Coupons from 1/10/10RP
Earn $3 ECBs (to use on your next purchase)
FINAL PRICE = $20.99 for two or $10.49 a box after coupons and ECBs. A huge savings from the original price.

I'm not sure if the price is cheaper elsewhere, as Chicago tends to be higher on most things. Also, your store may carry smaller boxes that cost less that you could work the deal with since the coupon doesn't have any product size restrictions. My Great-Uncle who's in his 70s runs in a lot of races and highly recommended this to me to check out if I get knee pain again during my second attempt at 5K training. I have to check with my Dr. to see what he suggests first, though. I was blown away at the prices so I've been keeping my eye on a deal for them. :)

UPDATE: Check to see if your CVS has the smaller boxes. One of my readers was able to find some for $15.99 and only paid $.99 for two boxes after coupons and ECBs! I need to see if one of my other branches has the smaller sizes.

Free Johnson & Johnson's First Aid Kits

There's a $1 Off Johnson's & Johnson's First Aid product coupon in the 1/3RP insert. (from this last Sunday's paper)

CVS and Target sell their Johnson & Johnson's First Aid To Go kits for right around a dollar, making these FREE or near FREE with the coupon.

Thanks, Happy Homemaker Cindy and Money Saving Mom!

Note:
These can usually be found in the travel sized products area. I picked up a bunch of these on a J&J promotion at CVS several months back. They are nice to leave in your diaper bag, purse and/or your glovebox of your vehicle. You can also use them in a housewarming/baby shower basket or to donate.

Lookout Alert: Double Your ECB Earnings Certificate

Saving Your Cents found a Double Your ECB Earnings Certificate by the register at her CVS.

"Just present this certificate once at the register between November 1 and December 15, 2009, and your double Extra Bucks will be added to each of your receipt totals. They’ll be available for you to redeem on your first visit in January”

What this does is doubles your 2% earnings to 4%. Every little bit adds up.

Thanks for sharing, Saving Your Cents!
