Now if these were the only items you were planning on buying, the coupon will "beep" because Walgreens doesn't allow "overage" and they won't mark down the coupon price like Target does. Ace Hardware: Free GE Energy Smart Light Bulbs

Ace Hardware has their GE Energy Smart Light Bulbs on sale for $1. If your store chain (as not all of them will) take manufacturer's coupons, you can use the $1 Off coupon from the 1/3/10SS insert to get them for FREE!

If you don't have the $1 Off Coupon, you can also use a $1/2 printable coupon HERE to get them for $.50 each.

The sale price is through 1/31/10 so there's plenty of time to pick them up. You could always try to take their sales ad to Target or Wal-Mart to see if they'll price match, as well. I haven't tried to price-match Ace Hardware at either place yet, though.


Also I wanted to mention that in our Ace Hardware sales ad, there was Mr. Clean Windshield Wash on sale for $2.50 with a $1.50 mail-in-rebate, making it only $1 after rebate. Just thought I'd mention in case anyone needed any you could check to see if your store was running the same deal.

This should work but I haven't tried it. For those of you with Targets that don't mark down the coupons, you may have issues. Their coupon policy HERE does say that coupon amounts can be reduced but I think it's left up to the individual stores.

A camera to give to the kids--or to use if you don't want to bring your "good camera" with. I hope this works for you, as it could be a nice stocking stuffer. Good Luck!
