Ace Hardware: Free GE Energy Smart Light Bulbs

Ace Hardware has their GE Energy Smart Light Bulbs on sale for $1. If your store chain (as not all of them will) take manufacturer's coupons, you can use the $1 Off coupon from the 1/3/10SS insert to get them for FREE!

If you don't have the $1 Off Coupon, you can also use a $1/2 printable coupon HERE to get them for $.50 each.

Thanks, Moms By Heart!

The sale price is through 1/31/10 so there's plenty of time to pick them up. You could always try to take their sales ad to Target or Wal-Mart to see if they'll price match, as well. I haven't tried to price-match Ace Hardware at either place yet, though.

Also I wanted to mention that in our Ace Hardware sales ad, there was Mr. Clean Windshield Wash on sale for $2.50 with a $1.50 mail-in-rebate, making it only $1 after rebate. Just thought I'd mention in case anyone needed any you could check to see if your store was running the same deal.

Freebie and Rebate for Furnace Air Filters

Ace Hardware has a program called "Handy Reminders" in which they'll send you emails to remind about those things that need to be done around the house, like testing your smoke detectors or changing your furnace filters.

If you have a Westlake Ace by you, you can sign-up for it HERE, they'll send you a coupon for a FREE pleated furnace filter. Note: The coupon is good through October 24th so you'll want to hurry! (Give it a second to load and a "sticky note" will appear that says, "Sign-Up Today.")

There's also a $3 rebate on Filtrete Filters right now that KC Penny Pinchin Mama has info on HERE.

Thanks for sharing these, KC Penny Pinchin Mama!

Ace Hardware: Free and Cheap Items!

Moms By Heart has a posting HERE with 6 items you can get this week for FREE or Nearly FREE at Ace Hardware!

Ace Hardware: Free 2 Pk Duracell Batteries w/ $10 Purchase

I was just looking at our local Ace Hardware Ad and noticed a coupon at the top "Duracell 2 Pk AA or AAA, FREE with $10 Purchase. While Supplies Last."

Now, this could be totally regional (sorry if it is!) but for those of you heading there for any purchases, you may want to check your ad first to see if you also have that coupon so you can snag some free batteries!

Ace Hardware: Money-Maker on Cutter?

Ace Hardware currently has a sale going on through June 30th for Cutter Mosquito Spray. It's $4.99 with a $4 rebate. If your store takes manufacturer's coupons, you can use the $2/1 coupon from 5/31S to make a $1 overage! (Limit 2)

Thanks for sharing, Mara!
