So I was browsing the Toys R Us ad and I saw Gold's Gym Cardio Workout for Wii for $19.99. I'd never heard of it and that's because it doesn't release until 3/31. Well, I checked around and it looks like Amazon has it for $27.99 and Best Buy for $29.99. So if you are planning on buying it, Toys R Us has the best price. Not only the best price but....FREE Shipping! Can you tell I'm excited? Here's some info on it:
*A personal training experience - schedule workouts, track burned calories and body weight evolution
*Offers a more intense cardio workout than most Wii fitness games. Includes exercises such as: cardio boxing, running, sit ups, and other activities.
*Tracks your progress and maintains a calendar of your exercise activity.
*Multiple Training modes and fitness levels - Difficulty evolves as your fitness level increases.
*Wii Fit Board compatible exercises, such as Squats, Back Training, Abdominal Training, Push Ups, Log Cutting, and Punch Dodge.
*The game includes a BONUS 7-Day VIP Golds Gym Membership.

Not only that, but when I went to check this out on Amazon, I saw another one releasing on May 19th called EA Sports Active.
I am totally willing to spend my "allowance" on things that keep me fit and healthy! (As long as they still fit into our budget.) I like to switch up my workout routines to keep me motivated. (Which I won't lie to you, gets harder and harder in the winter!!) In the end, staying healthy saves you money because it helps ward off health issues and medical bills. Not to mention the most important thing...it keeps you around for your kids! (And it's sooo much cheaper than a gym membership!)
So I'm throwing these new findings out to you so you can check them out and determine if they are going on your wish list or not, too! In case you missed me going on and on about it in the past, I am a big fan of My Fitness Coach.
I'm going to have to check with Jenn from Wii Mommies to see if she has any lowdowns on these new releases!! Please forgive my excitement. I just love what the Wii comes out with. Who would have thought exercise and fun could be said in the same statement?

Hi Jaycie
ReplyDeleteI might have to stay up late tonight to order the GGCW!
As far as the EA Sports workout, I wouldn't be surprised if the Wii Mommies have an inside scoop as EA Sports is sending them to BlogHer... hmmm...
Enjoy your day!
~Carol
Me again. I ordered it! I saw that the promotion is good until April 4th.
ReplyDeleteThank you again Jaycie!
