Ace Hardware has their GE Energy Smart Light Bulbs on sale for $1. If your store chain (as not all of them will) take manufacturer's coupons, you can use the $1 Off coupon from the 1/3/10SS insert to get them for FREE!

The sale price is through 1/31/10 so there's plenty of time to pick them up. You could always try to take their sales ad to Target or Wal-Mart to see if they'll price match, as well. I haven't tried to price-match Ace Hardware at either place yet, though.
Also I wanted to mention that in our Ace Hardware sales ad, there was Mr. Clean Windshield Wash on sale for $2.50 with a $1.50 mail-in-rebate, making it only $1 after rebate. Just thought I'd mention in case anyone needed any you could check to see if your store was running the same deal.

My sister uses the Mr. Clean Windshield cleaner in her window-washing set up for her house.(She has some really high windows and using the MC means she doesnt have to use a dangerous ladder to wash those big high windows on either side of her fireplace in her living room. And a gallon jug will last a long time!
ReplyDeleteI went today and just to let you know - the $1 bulbs are for 13 watt minis. The 75 watt is on sale for $2, which is still a good deal, especially with the coupon.
