Nielsen Home Scanner - Taking Apps Again!!

I know some of you tried for this one and your zipcodes weren't available at the time. Well, they've opened it up more and I hope that maybe yours will be included. There's not much time left so you'll want to check it out before they pull it again.

Never heard of Nielsen Home Scanner Consumer Panel? It's a select panel of people that scan their purchases weekly to help manufacturer's determine which products to market to people. They are currently taking new applicants.

If you are accepted as a panel member, you will be sent a small hand-held scanner and will scan all the bar codes of everything you buy. Once a week, you'll send this information to Nielsen and you'll earn points which can be redeemed for a variety of items from their catalog. It may take a bit to earn the points but the prizes they are offer are pretty sweet.

Right@Home: Still Taking New Applications

In case you missed it the first time I posted this, Right @ Home from SC Johnson is open again and taking applications. They only open this every so often and the applications usually fill-up quickly.

It's FREE to sign-up and they'll send you an email every so often with FREE offers and coupons. The one I just received today had a $1 off any Pledge Product coupon in it.

Curves: Free Fitness Plan and Offer *Deal Ended*

Right now, Curves is offering a FREE Fitness Plan HERE. They are also running an offer of 50% off and "30 Days on Us." So if you are looking for a way to get out of the house and get in some exercise, it might be worth looking into.

I joined Curves several years back. I actually loved it and went three times a week. They helped me get toned up for my wedding day! :) Afterwards, I focused on just staying healthy and I really think it helped when it came time to have the kids, as I was used to some exercise and eating a great diet.

But it may not be the right fit for you. Mine gave me a free day to come and see if it would work for me. So ask yours if they still have that option.

Golden Corral: Military Appreciation Free Dinner

The 2008 Military Appreciation Monday dinner will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 from 5 pm to 9 pm in all Golden Corral Restaurants.

The free “thank you” dinner is available to any person who has ever served in the United States Military. If you are a veteran, retired, currently serving, in the National Guard or Reserves, you are invited to participate in Golden Corral’s Military Appreciation Monday dinner.

To date, Golden Corral restaurants have provided over 1.8 million free meals and contributed over $2.53 million to the Disabled American Veterans organization.

What is Vocal Point?

Yes, most of you veteran couponers already know everything about Vocal Point. But I know there are so many readers that stop by that are just starting out and I want to make sure you have heard about this.
